Law
9:00-2:00 15/15 Notes from the Counselor:
Please bring a SASE for me to mail their cards back to you.

As for prerequisites; here is what I would like:
•    Either 13 years of age or the rank of Second Class or above.  (The materials in this badge are largely abstract thinking and not very suitable for all first first year scouts and many second year scouts as well).
•    Requirement 4: (Ask five people (not more than one from your immediate family) about the role of law enforcement officers in our society. Discuss their answers with them. Go to a law enforcement officer in your neighborhood and ask him about his responsibilities and duties. Report your findings)
•    Requirement 9: (Make a list of 15 jobs which deal with some aspect of law or legal processes. Tell which you prefer. Why?)
If you can also please publish that this merit badge will require the scout to attend a civil or criminal court trial / write 1 250 word essay about their findings OR participate in a mock trial inside our class group.  They can make that decision once we are in class.  Mock trial participants will be required to attend, as a group, a follow up session.  A date for that follow up session will be decided upon while attending class on Saturday.  The mock trial will be held at my place of work near the intersection of Olentangy and Bethel Roads and take about an hour.
