** Clinics will have no more than 15 Scouts per Counselor scheduled. Total seats >15, indicates multiple Counselors for the same Merit Badge.

Notes from the Counselor: This is a hands-on clinic, scouts should wear old clothes and shoes. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided by counselor. Scouts must compete Requirement # 5 (visit an implement dealer) and prepare a report to hand in to counselor. All other requirements will be covered. Scouts who make their visits prior to the clinic and submit their report for review will leave with a completed blue card.

Pre-Reqs:
  • Write in 200 words or more about the care, feeding, and housing of your pet. Tell some interesting facts about it. Tell why you have this kind of pet. Give local laws, if any, relating to the pet you keep.
  • Read a book or pamphlet about your kind of pet. Be prepared to discuss what you have learned from what you read.
  • Bring in a picture of your pet. This picture can be printed any size, or it can be on a smartphone or a tablet.
